This Weeks Planning

Just before we turn into bed and say goodnight to yet another day it is worth doing a bit of planning for this week to get clear about what we want to achieve this week.

Here are the activities that we will complete this week;

1. Urgently Renew Josh's Passport and Get Jasper his first Passport
2. Change the Address on Tomoko's Drivers Licence
3. Work on our family farm budget and take stock of where we are at
4. Book our Japan trip and make plans for how we will spend our time
5. Finalise all plumbing work
6. Book George, the excavator to dig final trenches and gardens
7. Finish the organisation of the office
8. Build another compost pile
9. Print all photos for frame and drop off some to professional framer
10. Complete all computer organisation and saving of all files
11. Book Derek to finish the servicing of our tractor and ride on mower
12. Travel to Brisbane to train the Senior Salesman from FCC
13. Write the final handover report ready for handing in on (Josh's) last day
14. Finish laundry and kitchen cupboard organisation
15. Contact Greg the Mulcher Man to build another mountain of mulch for us
16. Set deadlines for construction of retaining wall for kitchen garden
17. Prepare our master shopping list for the household
18. Complete Jaspers room and master bedroom with shelves and all storage
19. Update Tomoko's resume ready for job applications
20. Book Jasper into pre-school and school ready to commence in July 2008
21. Prepare invitation for housewarming, Jaspers 3rd Birthday & Larry's 60th
22. Arrange for collection of new car, wheels and tyres, tinting and laminates
23. Source and price new printer for when we return the FCC equipment
24. Send CD to Luke from the Permaculture Course as promised
25. Finalise visit from Dave Brown in first week of June and set work schedule
26. Finalise visit from Marshall, Cec, Savannah and Leif
27. Finish sanding and painting of mirror and shelf for bathroom
28. Remove shelf from the stables and reconstruct it to fit in tool shed
29. Start the planning for our first garage sale in August
30. Finalise the design for our farm sign out the front and build it.
31. Install our Red Dragon Flag with a pole and stand in the ground
32. Add layers of seaweed, compost, soil and hay to our kitchen garden
33. Set appointment with local rural accountant to change our structures
